Project: Volunteer in an Children's Home/Orphanage in Bolivia
From the first day I arrived, I felt very comfortable with the host family.
The family offered me all the tastes and treats of Bolivia, from sopa de mani to the tradition of hot dogs on “Día de San Juan”.
The rooms were accomadating with all the benefits of my own room and I always slept soundly.
In short, I was provided with everything I needed: daily meals, a hot shower, and internet—from which I kept my parents’ worries at bay. I like the fact that they have three children of varying ages with whom I can play when I am not working or travelling. Kattia also did an excellent job of helping me plan weekend excursions. All in all, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in the Oblitas household.
