Where will I be volunteering?

You will be studying in San Jose, which is the capital of Costa Rica. San Jose is a very sophisticated city with many attractions in and around the city. San Jose is also very close to beaches, national parks, and volcanoes. They have a variety of shopping opportunities, restaurants and bars. In the center, you will find the only outdoor market in Costa Rica. Here you can find unique souvenir items such as hammocks and jewelry at a very inexpensive price. It is home to many universities which make for a very crazy nightlife scene.
