uVolunteer has partnered with one of the leading language schools in Costa Rica to offer our volunteers one of the most affordable Spanish language program you can find anywhere in Costa Rica.

This program is only available to our volunteers and the Spanish language program can be tailored toward the Spanish needed for your volunteer project. Learning Spanish whilst on your volunteer vacation in Costa Rica will be one of the highlights of your vacation.

This is an intensive course with 4 hours of tuition per day for 5 days a week. The methodology used by this premier school was developed by its founder, a highly innovate individual who has over 30 years of teaching Spanish as second language. The School's method places a strong emphasis on conversation while at the same time introducing applied Spanish grammar. As a result, you will be learning Spanish based on the main principles of learning, meaning, motivation and practical application.

During your studies at the language school you will be living with specially chosen host families who will welcome you in their homes will become your avenue to traditional Tico culture.
