Our volunteer teaching English programs in Costa Rica are ideal for volunteers who are interested in working with children and adults to improve their English language skills. Our program are based in a wide range of settings and environments and you do not have to have a background or experience in teaching to participate on these projects as the focus is on providing practical conversational English language use.

You will be teaching a variety of English classes from kinder to adults. Classes differ in each location but generally the focus is on vocabulary, conversation, and listening activities.

Volunteers who teach English need to be creative and self-motivated as even the most basic resources can be limited. However, the student's genuine need for tuition and conversational English practice make these projects really rewarding.
