The objective of this project is to enable you to work and care for orphans residing in the small social welfare licensed orphanages in the Eastern Region of Ghana. Volunteers placed on this project will help these children by generally being a role model, providing love and attention. The orphanages that we send our volunteers accommodate approximately 6- 25 children of varying ages from 1-23. These are small and intimate homes that will enable you to closely connect with the children thus creating meaningful bonds and emotional ties with them

Where will I be volunteering?

You will be volunteering in one of three orphanages based in the rural villages located on the outskirts of Koforidua. Koforidua is the capital of the Eastern Region of Ghana. It has all the modern amenities but unlike the capital Accra and other more touristic towns it is very laid back and unhurried. We believe that Koforidua is a great location to experience why Ghanaians have a reputation for being kind and very welcoming.
