Description:

The enrolment officer should preferably be an alumni volunteer from one of our 3 Main Program Destinations of Costa Rica, Ghana or Thailand. But we will consider applicants with knowledge and experience of the Gap Year, Alternative, Responsible or Volunteer Travel industries.

The enrollment officer's primary duty is to enroll participants on the uVolunteer Abroad program. Preferably you are alumni of our program but we will also consider applicants with knowledge and experience of the Gap Year, Alternative, and Responsible or Sales for the Travel Industry.

You should be knowledgeable of the responsible travel industry and be able to take a lead all the way through, reservation, application, pre-arrival to arrival in country.

The remainder (30%) of the role involves content creation for our market material. This is a very important aspect of this position so we require a person with high level of English writing skills as we will expect you to be able to write marketing and sales content. Your role will also involve creating relationships with study abroad programs, travel hubs online, institutions and providers of study abroad, internships and volunteer vacations.

Duties and skills

• Responsible for responding to all leads and inquires
• Providing customer service via email, telephone and live chat
• Coordinating all participants pre-arrival Information
• Contributing content to our online journal and project listings
• Excellent spoken and written English a must, strong Spanish language skills
• Marketing & customer service skills
• Bright, clever, highly organized & ambitious
• Proficient in MS Office & Windows
• Be a Self Manager
• Motivated, detail oriented, adaptable and goal-oriented person

Salary

$850 basic + commission
