Kenya, having many different ethnic groups and cultures represented, suffers mostly from ethnic division, drought, and the AIDS epidemic. While coping with these hardships, Kenya endured a violent uprising during the elections of 2007 that displaced more than 600,000 people. Our various volunteer programs in Kenya try to help alleviate some of the issues that Kenya faces today.
Our volunteer projects in Kenya are based in the towns of Nairobi, Nakuru, Nyeri and Watamu. All of these towns are located in the central and north western parts of Kenya. Volunteers based in Kenya can combine projects to see as much as possible of Kenya.
