Nicaragua is a stunningly beautiful country with extensive natural resources and wonderfully generous people. However, Nicaragua is one of the poorest nations in the Western Hemisphere. Despite improvements in the economy of Nicaragua, almost half of the population still lives in poverty. This poverty mainly affects women and children. Our various volunteer programs are arranged to try and alleviate some of the hardships Nicaragua struggles with today.
Our volunteer projects in Nicaragua are based in Granada. Beautiful colonial Granada historically is one of Nicaragua's most important cities both economically and politically. Granada is considered to be a splendid city to wander and has many attractions in and around the city. Granada is also notorious for its night life.
