The project provides community development assistance to the Orphanage for Boys. This home provides shelter and care to children without parents or whose parents have abandoned them. While onsite, volunteers act as role models, help the children with their homework, lead recreational activities, aid in meal preparation, and assist the staff members. The boys range in age from 3 to 15 years old. Most of the boys' families suffer from alcoholism, poverty, violence and abuse. Some kids go to school in the mornings, others in the afternoon.
