This project provides community development assistance to the Shelter for Girls in Cusco. This shelter is a house for girls who have suffered violence in their homes, sexual abuse, are abandoned by their family, or are orphans. It provides a place for the girls to stay, eat, and feel protected. While onsite, volunteers will provide skills for the girls in computers, English, and other areas of education through workshops. Volunteers will also act as role models and a support system to the girls.
