I enjoyed my work a lot. It was very interesting and also very important. The kids need help and I feel that I was able to help them.

Project: Volunteer in the Shelter for Girls in Peru
Thank you very much for everything. First of all, I really like my host family in Peru. Emma and Lula are very nice and welcoming and I appreciated their help.
Also, I love the other volunteers in my house and in the orphanage. Having both my family and the other volunteers was great because I had people to speak Spanish with and also people to go out and explore with. Additionally, the food in my home stay was great. 
I also enjoy taking Spanish classes. I do get practice speaking Spanish with my host family and at work but the classes were definitely helpful.
