Volunteer Overseas: HIV and AIDS
HIV and AIDS clinics are in desperate need of volunteers to help accommodate their growing number of patients. These understaffed clinics provide testing and counseling to anyone seeking care. Volunteers placed in projects involving HIV or AIDS will take care of administrative work as well as participate in counseling HIV positive patients. You will also play an active role in spreading AIDS/HIV awareness, educating the community on prevention methods and treatment options for those living with the disease and providing a means of support for those who need it.
